President’s Welcome: Lambda Chi Omega Chapter

2nd Try.png

Aloha and Welcome,

On behalf of the "AKAMAI" women of the Lambda Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, it is a true honor to welcome you to our digital home.

For nearly 48 years—since our historic chartering on March 24, 1978—our chapter has been a steadfast pillar of service throughout Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. Our legacy began with a visionary group of women known as "AKAMAI," a Hawaiian term meaning "smart, clever, and expert." Today, we continue to honor that name through a diverse membership of high-achieving professionals in medicine, education, law, business, and public service.

As we move forward in this administration, we remain deeply committed to the foundational pillars of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service. We are actively engaged in Alpha Kappa Alpha’s 2022–2026 International Program, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood. Through our intentional work, we strive to:

  • Empower Our Families

  • Build Our Economic Wealth

  • Enhance Our Environment

  • Uplift Our Local Community

  • Advocate for Social Justice

  • Strengthen Our Sisterhood

Our greatest impact comes through collaboration. Whether you are a visiting Soror, a community partner, or a friend of the chapter, we invite you to join us in our mission to improve the lives of those in the Pacific.

Thank you for visiting. We look forward to partnering with you as we continue to soar to greater heights of sisterhood and service!
